Our story

We are Brandon and Kevin Colton, brothers and business partners, searching to acquire, operate, and grow a single business in the Mountain West.

After careers in consulting, operations, and the military, we both saw the same opportunity from different vantage points: great companies built by dedicated owners who are ready to pass the torch but want their legacy protected. Rather than start something new, we are choosing to continue something proven — a business with strong people, loyal customers, and room to grow thoughtfully over time.

Our Team

  • Brandon Colton

    Co-Founder, Searcher

    Brandon is a former management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Before that, he helped run his father’s carpet cleaning business as its operations manager, overseeing a $10M P&L and ~100 employees. He graduated from Brigham Young University and has an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden.

    Brandon is a birding enthusiast and amateur woodworker who enjoys home improvement and making his young son laugh.

  • Kevin Colton

    Co-Founder, Searcher

    Kevin is a former U.S. Army Engineer Officer, where he oversaw $19M in equipment and 15+ projects in Europe and in Colorado. He is a graduate of U.S. Army Ranger School. He has financial experience from stints at Blackstone and Delta40. He graduated from West Point and is currently earning his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business

    Kevin enjoys hiking, performing piano, and making his young nephew laugh.
